T-Mobile launches Mobile Broadband Share Dock 3G WiFi router:
3G WiFi routers are not anything new at this point, but T-Mobile new Mobile Broadband Share Dock is one of the slicker implementations we have seen from a carrier -- the unit consists of a USB HSDPA modem and a base which shares the connection over WiFi, which means you can unplug the modem and take your access on the road.

D-Link debuts new 802.11n dual router:
Another 802.11n wireless router is set to debut from the networking folks over at D-Link. This one is the D-Link DIR-628 and it will price somewhat cheaply at around 120 dollar.

Digi International said today it is making available for purchase a new PC card based 3G cellular router with integrated Wi-Fi access point. It is called the Digi Wi-Point 3G and it will run you around $485.

Canary Wireless updates their WiFi detector:
Personally I find little need for a Wi-Fi detector these days since my phone and my notebook both do a good job of finding open networks. If I ca not find it with one of those I am not going to be able to use the wireless network, anyway.

TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader would not put your router out of a job:
If you have been at it long, you are probably tired of forking over $100 or so every year for the latest and greatest in wireless networking. The TEW-637AP, thankfully, takes a different approach.

Instant hotspot: Cradlepoint PHS300 morphs EVDO into WiFi:
An odd little device made me a hero tonight. We were in the middle of a what turned out to be a 13-hour blackout in my San Francisco neighborhood, and my wife was getting antsy since she could not get her laptop online to work. She had some battery power left, but no connection.
